Boker 161DAM Zirconia Mosaic Damascus - The Boker annual Damascus knife for 2007 has received the meaningful award - 2007 Best Imported Knife of the Year - at this year's Blade Show in Atlanta. This award motivated Boker to refine its successful Zirconia model. For the first time, Boker is taking on Mosaic Damascus. For this project, we were able to win over famous custom knifemaker, Ed Schempp. In his blacksmith shop in Washington State, he got the idea to forge a Boker Treebrand Mosaic Damascus. After endless and tedious forging process, Ed forged Damascus steel plates with many small Boker trees, which are perfect for use as a handle inlay. The Treebrand Mosaic Damascus is made of 1084 carbon steel, with a nickel steel from Boehler, which harmonizes perfectly with the titanium handles. This 300-layer Damascus steel is hand forged and displays the inchesGreat Rosesinches pattern. This collectors knife is serial numbered and strictly limited to just 500 pieces worldwide. Comes in a wooden presentation box with a certificate of authenticity. Includes pocket clip. Blade length 3 inches. Overall length 6 7/8 inches.
