CRKT- Columbia River Knife and Tool - Ultima - For the last 4,000 years the already superior design of the tactical fixed blade knife has never been improved until the CRKT- Columbia River Knife and Tool - Ultima. It took at team of ergonomic experts, kinesthesiologist, and a designer of surgical tools to determine that the ideal knife would have 23 points of contact with the hand. The CRKT- Columbia River Knife and Tool - Ultima utilizes 22 of these contact points with its patent pending handle. The handle was expertly designed with 70 triangular gripping segments, separated by ooze grooves and made to channel away moisture. The handle also features molded, black Zytel scales feature and horizontal groves with ultimate gripping in mind. The butt of the handle was designed as an extension of the blade twang so it can be easily used as a pry bar. The 6.75 inch stainless steel blade is coated with a light bead blast non-reflective finish. The modified Tanto shape of the blade is designed for maximum strength and utility. This knife comes complete with a custom black Cordura/Zytel shealth.
