Designed specifically to serve those who need a reliable knife, the CRKT Fire Department M16 comes with a partially serrated edge and a tanto point. Blade is approximately 3.94 inches long and possesses several features including a blade extension for easy opening and the autoLAWKS safety, converting the knife to a virtual fixed blade when open.

Available with Partially Serrated Blade only - Kit Carson, Knifemaker's Guild Member, and designer of the M16 Series, designs for function, not fad. Heft any M16 and you'll know what that means. Features AUS-8 steel blade with a titanium nitride coating for corrosion resistance and Fire Engine Red injection molded Zytel handles that resist slippage under all conditions. Blade features the Carson flipper extension which makes it easier to open the knife - particularly with gloves on - and the autoLAWKS safety. The skeletonized handle makes this a lightweight companion and easy to carry on gear with the removable black Teflon plated pocket clip. Utilizes dual thumb studs for ambidextrous use. Scheduled for release by the end of April 2006.
