Cold Steel has added two new improvements to the Outdoorsman. The first is jimping on the blade back. This gives the thumb and index finger more control of the edge as they now have a non-slip platform to rest on. The second is a chopping edge, or bone breaker. In our tests, this edge hacked through everything we put in front of it, including heavy gauge steel wire, so it's sure to stand up in the field! As before, the Outdoorsman will come with a heavy leather sheath, fitted with a brush proof retaining strap.
