Available in Fine Diamond Hone (600 Grit) - Medium Diamond Hone (320 Grit) - Coarse Diamond (220 Grit) - Extra Coarse Diamond Hone (120 Grit). Accessory Hone for Lansky Sharpening Systems or to be used alone. Use the Extra Coarse hone to start edge of extremely dull or deteriorated knives. Use Coarse hone for quickly working the blade to a semi smooth edge prior to using the medium diamond. The Medium hone is excellent for keeping a sharp edge on all knives. Use the Fine hone for finishing touches on a sharpened edge. All LANSKY Sharpening Systems hones are mounted on specially designed color coded holders embossed with grade of stone for instant identification and comfortable slip resistant finger grooves for ease of handling.
