The Original Mercator K55 Cat Knife made in Solingen, Germany, continues to be produced with the same design and Solingen steel blade as manufactured in Germany during WWII, many GIs brought brought them home as souvenirs from WWII.
Although often imitated, the Mercator K55 Cat Utility knife's all steel construction continues to be a slim, durable, and low cost pocketknife that maintains an excellent edge. This is a great knife that you will not be afraid to use. All knives are + inch wide with a 3 + inch blade and measure 7 + inches overall open, 4 3/8 inches closed.
