Spyderco C91PBK Pacific Salt Rust Free - Plain Edge - Rounded at the nearly 4 inch blade's nose with a thicker tip where most use occurs, the Pacific Salt also features an enlarged 14mm Spyderco Round Hole which facilitates opening with gloved or wet hands. All Spyderco Salt Series Knives boast hollow-ground blades, FRN Volcano Grip handles, a lanyard hole for thong or cord attachment for water use, and ambidextrous tip-up carry. From Spyderco: New H-1 Steel is a precipitation-hardened alloy with .1 percent nitrogen that performs like carbon in the steel matrix, but will not react to chlorine, making rust. Holding an edge comparable to carbon-based steels, H-1 work-hardens at the cutting edges when processed and sharpened, raising Rc hardness and durability.
